Golf Courses

The Bendinat golf club :

This Par 70, 5660 metres in length course, was designed by Martin Hawtree in a broad wooded valley. The course overlooks the Bay of Palma (located 7 km away) and the view is breathtaking. What more do you need, sea, mountains, a magnificent golf course. The Bendinat Castle (dating from the 18th century) overlooks the course, this golf course will leave a lasting memory!

The Son Gual golf course :

Designed like a Scottish links this Par 72, 5983 meters in length course, (from the yellow forward tees) can be intimidating given the large number of bunkers but remains an honest and fair course. You will be playing golf on a course which is maintained to the highest standards by some of the best greenskeepers around, the greens are outstanding!

The Son Muntaner golf club :

This golf course is a Par 72 and comes with a stunning 6305 meters of beautiful scenery! Kurt Rossknecht has designed a modern and very honest course that is perfect for players of all levels with very large and excellently maintained greens. The course has some lovely lakes, and fairways bordered by Millenary olive trees. The oldest olive tree in Mallorca is on hole number 15!

The Son Quint golf club :

Another splendid Par 72, 5929 metres in length (from the yellow forward tees) course, designed by Kurt Rossknecht and Ramon Espinosa. With an unobstructed view of the Mallorcan countryside and a high standard of maintenance, playing here will create a lasting memory and a wonderful scenic golfing experience.  A variety of grass from Bermuda gives this course a unique foliage. Teeing off from hole number 8 you will have a magnificent view of Majorca’s Cathedral, two huge bodies of water makes the perfect backdrop for your round of golf.

Surrounding area :

If you like history and old buildings, the Cathedral of Palma (dating from 1346) is waiting for a visit! If hiking you see a signpost for the small village of Andraxt, take it! This small port is sublime, a mini Saint-Tropez Majorquin. Don’t forget your swimming costume, lots of opportunities for a dip in this little piece of paradise.

SVM Golf Travel Tip :
