Description :

The Omaha Beach Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Normandy Landing Beaches, and offers two very different courses. The « Mer » course is a links style course overlooking the bay, where as the « Manoir » course is set in a typical Normandy landscape with hedgerows and fruit trees.

Hotel :

A former mansion and farm, this magnificent Norman chateau dating from the eighteenth century, offers spacious and comfortable rooms that reflect the elegance, romance and peacefulness of the surrounding.

The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed, a flat screen TV, WIFI access, a minibar, a safe, bathrobes, slippers and a hair dryer. Each room has its own unique design which harmoniously combines ancient charm with modern comfort. The woodwork and marble fireplaces provide a cosy and romantic atmosphere

Restaurants :

At breakfast enjoy the hotel’s honey made from the chateau’s hives.

«Botaniste » :

The chef Didier Robin, prepares seasonal dishes that will delight your taste buds using local produce from some of the best Norman farms, as well as the hotel’s gardens.

« Petit Jardin » :

Please not that the Petit Jardin is a seasonal restaurant, open from mid-May to the end of September.

Make the most of the sunshine and rural setting in the hotel’s garden. Offering a selection of Argentine grilled meats.

« Zanzibar » :

Come and enjoy a last drink in this charming bar hidden away in the Castle, displaying some of the owner’s travel memorabilia.

The golf courses

The « La Mer » Course :

This Par 72 has wonderful views overlooking the sea and the village of Port-en-Bessin. The colours of the sea and the bocage landscape make a wonderful setting for this course. The green on hole 6 has a spectacular backdrop of the village of Port-en-Bessin and offers a panoramic view of the ‘Mulberry Harbours’ at Arromanches, and the ‘Longues-sur-Mer Battery’ both still very present on the former allied landing beaches.

Even if you don’t play your best round of golf, you will still have a wonderful memory of this beautiful costal course.

The « Le Manoir » Course :

A challenging Par 71 course with many water hazards, however your swing will be soothing in this typical normand bocage landscape. Le Manoir is a real delight for the eyes with unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside. The views from holes 2 and 3 are stunning. Its a long and technical course particularly when playing on the back-tees, easier for those playing on the forward-tees. Great course for all levels, with well designed greens which are maintained to the highest standards.
